Our Sewanee Campus is home to one of the most innovative and advanced Physical Therapy Departments in the Tennessee Valley.  From skilled nursing to outpatient rehabilitation, our aim to give every patient a highly specialized care plan coupled with intense individual instruction. Our services include:

Physical Therapy is a well-established form of conservative treatment for injury or debilitation that uses exercise as the primary tool to decrease pain, restore natural movement, increase strength and endurance and regain independence, and mprove quality of life.

Occupational Therapy is a well-established form of conservative treatment for upper extremity injury or debilitation. The focus of occupational therapy is on restoration of normal activity.

Speech Therapy is a treatment programs are directed towards improving communication skills and safe swallowing.

Vestibular Therapy is typically recommended for  those patients diagnosed with dizziness, imbalance, vertigo, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), Meniere syndrome, neck related dizziness, and migraines. Other candidates are patients who have had a stroke or brain injury or who frequently fall.
